By registering for Cap Cana Invitational 2026 or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not register or use the platform. These terms constitute a binding agreement between you and TCO BLUE, LLC.
Registration is open to all eligible teams with a qualified vessel and licensed captain. Registration is not confirmed until full payment is received and processed. TCO BLUE, LLC reserves the right to decline any registration at its sole discretion. All participants must comply with tournament rules as published separately.
All fees are in US Dollars and are non-refundable unless otherwise specified. Base entry fees, jackpot entries, and any additional fees are due at the time of registration. Payments are processed through Stripe. Refunds, if approved, will be returned to the original payment method and may take 5-10 business days to process.
Full refunds are available if a team withdraws more than 60 days before the tournament start date. Withdrawals within 30 to 60 days of the tournament receive a 50% refund. No refunds are issued for withdrawals within 30 days of the tournament. Jackpot entry fees are refundable only if the team withdraws before registration closes. If the tournament is cancelled in whole or in part due to a force majeure event (including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, government action, pandemic, or severe weather rendering the tournament impracticable), all teams will receive a full refund of base entry and jackpot fees paid. TCO BLUE, LLC reserves the right to issue refunds at its discretion in extraordinary circumstances.
Cash prizes are subject to U.S. tax reporting requirements. U.S. winners must submit IRS Form W-9 and non-U.S. winners must submit IRS Form W-8BEN before any prize is released. Tax forms are collected at the time of winnings claim. TCO BLUE, LLC may report payouts to the IRS on Form 1099-MISC where required and may apply backup withholding where a valid taxpayer identification number has not been furnished.
All participants are expected to conduct themselves professionally and in accordance with IGFA rules. Any participant found to be cheating, tampering with equipment, misreporting catches, or engaging in unsportsmanlike conduct may be immediately disqualified and banned from future events. Decisions by the tournament director are final.
All catches must be verified according to tournament rules. Video evidence is required for all billfish releases. Tournament officials have final authority over catch approval or rejection. Disputes must be filed within 30 minutes of the ruling through official protest procedures.
Participants acknowledge that offshore fishing is inherently dangerous. TCO BLUE, LLC, its officers, sponsors, and partners are not liable for any injury, death, loss, or damage arising from participation in the tournament. All participants assume full risk and are responsible for maintaining adequate insurance on their vessels and persons.
By participating, you grant TCO BLUE, LLC the right to photograph, film, and record your participation for promotional, editorial, and commercial use without compensation. This includes but is not limited to social media, website, broadcast, and print materials.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or tournament participation shall be resolved exclusively by binding arbitration administered in Miami, Florida, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Participants waive any right to a jury trial and consent to exclusive personal jurisdiction in Miami-Dade County, Florida for any proceeding to enforce an arbitral award.
TCO BLUE, LLC reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered participants. Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance.
