Payout Structure
Jackpot pools update in real time as teams register. Each jackpot has a separate pool for the Sonar and Non-Sonar divisions; only teams in the relevant division can win that division pool.
Pool amounts shown are the captain-side jackpot. Each jackpot pays out according to the payout structure listed above.
Payouts are calculated based on final tournament standings after all catches have been verified. In the event of a tie, the team that reached the highest point total first wins per the tournament tiebreaker.
All payouts are made via check, ACH, or wire transfer within 30 days of the tournament's conclusion. Before any prize is released, U.S. winners must submit a completed IRS Form W-9 and non-U.S. winners must submit Form W-8BEN. Required tax forms are collected at the time of winnings claim. Winners may be subject to required IRS reporting (Form 1099) and backup withholding.
